William Bob Watson

Graveside services for William Bob Watson, 86, of Beulah will be held Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Sonia Bonner officiating.

Mr. Watson died Friday, September 25, 2015 at home, after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Watson was born in Raines County, Texas September 16, 1929. He was the son of William Henry and Sarah (Parks) Watson.

Bob was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and work in his garden. He retired from Lufkin Industries after 40 years of service.

Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Cozetta (Childers) Watson; daughters and son-in-law, Bobbie and Mitchell Oneill and Janice Parks; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Debbie Watson; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Pat Watson and wife Georgia and Jerry Mike Watson; sisters, Nelda Battenfield and husband Edward, Mary Brasuell and husband Coy, Wilma Williams and husband Roger, Dorothy Childers, Carolyn Montes, and Debbie Reid; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Sarah Watson; son-in-law, Neville Parks; brother and sister-in-law, Joe Ed and Mamie Watson; and brothers-in-law, Mike Reid and Royce Dean Childers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning prior to the services.
