Funeral services for Kastacieon Lagreg Clark, 35, of Hutto, Texas will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Eldridge Robertson officiating assisted by Pastor Kendrick Morris, Bishop James Coutee, Evangelist Crystal Tolbert, and Pastor Roy Scott. Interment will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Clark was born May 9, 1980 in Lufkin, Texas to Brenda and Gregory Clark and passed Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at St. Davis Hospital in Round Rock.
Mr. Clark formerly resided in Lufkin and Atlanta, Georgia. He was a graduate of the Lufkin High School Class of 1998 where he was in the Pace Program Honor Classes throughout his high school years and also served as an honor guard and was involved in many other extracurricular activities. He attended Huston Tilliston University in Austin, Texas where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and was an active member of the Austin Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Mr. Clark worked as a Case Service Manager for D and S Community Services where he helped mentally challenged individuals transition into society. He was the C.E.O. of Music Luver Entertainment where he produced his first album in 2012. He was a musician, songwriter, and poet who often opened for major musicians. Mr. Clark was an accomplished actor who had the lead role in the stage play “Hot Comb”. He was also a devoted physical fitness trainer. Kastacieon was a loving, compassionate individual who always gave back to his community, like helping the homeless in Austin community. Education was a priority to him and he strived to help others achieve their own potential. He was a devout Christian who helped others toward a relationship with Christ. He attended First Pentecostal Church under the late Bishop Kendrick Morris until he became a teenager. He joined the House of Prayer for All People in Dallas, Texas under Bishop McClelland and Margueritte McClelland. He was baptized in 2010. Kastacieon Clark was a young man who fulfilled and walked in his destiny.
Survivors include his parents; sister, Camilia A. Clark of Alexandria, Virginia; brother, DeMarcus L. Clark and wife, Jheri of Lufkin; nephew, Myles A. Dukes of Alexandria, Virginia; niece, Jamiya Martin of Lufkin; grandparents, Manzel Clark and Bonnie L. and Reuben L. Doyle; aunts, Cynthia Cooper Williams (L.E.), Barbara G. Doyle, Tina B. Doyle-Hines (Marion), Sheila Clark and Pascal Jackson, Rita Clark and Michael Mayshaw, Glenda Leassear (Jethro), and Wiliie Miller; uncles, Reuben L. Doyle, Anthony C. Doyle (Nancy), Tyrone F. Doyle, Dexter R. Doyle (Laquensia), Christopher D. Doyle, Carnel Clark, Vernell Clark (Bertha), Clifton R. Clark (Johnita).
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ocie L. Clark and uncle, Robert Andrew Cooper.
Pallbearers will be Cohlen Doyle, Abunwa Cooper, DeVondre Doyle, Christopher Mitchell, Pilar Clark, and Doyle Clark.
Honorary pallbearers will be Coleski Anthony, Jeffrey Leassear, Deon Doyle, Jacolby Sheppard, DeMarcus Clark, and his Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternal Brothers.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
