Graveside services for Vaughn L. Reynolds, 88, of Huntington will be held Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Zavalla Cemetery with his sons officiating.
Mr. Reynolds was born February 23, 1927 in Broaddus, Texas to the late Alice (Sanders) and Lee Reynolds and died Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Huntington.
Mr. Reynolds had resided in Huntington for most of his life. He faithfully served his country in World War II with the United States Army. He worked in the trucking industry for Red Ball Freight for over thirty years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening. Mr. Reynolds and his wife Naida spent time traveling and seeing the country. He was a loving father, faithful friend, and a good man who was secure in his salvation. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his beloved wife of sixty-seven years, Naida (Montgomery) Reynolds of Huntington; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Shirley Reynolds of Lufkin, Bruce and Janet Reynolds of Huntington, Neil and Susan Reynolds of Huntington, and Sheldon Reynolds of Lewisville; grandsons, Ryan Reynolds, Brent Reynolds, Keith Reynolds, and David Flemming; granddaughters, Shanna Powers, Kristi King, Loren Lowe, Leslie Alsbrook, Chelsea Reynolds, and Caylea Reynolds; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sister, Nelda Bryan and husband Jack of Pollok; sister-in-law, Joyce Gleason of Graham; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and John Robert Zeigler of Huntington.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Travis and Rosa Montgomery; sisters, Lera Parker Eastepp, Charlsie Reynolds, and Lola Mae Reynolds; sister-in-law, Lila Moore Kennedy and brother-in-law, Grayson Montgomery.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mr. Reynolds grandchildren.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
