Emmerich Kalmann "Emmy" Lakadosch

Graveside services for Emmerich Kalmann “Emmy” Lakadosch, 66, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Fielder Memorial Cemetery with Brother William Kato officiating.

Mr. Lakadosch was born May 8, 1949 in Landsberg am Lech, Germany to the late Berthold and Gertrud Margarette (Baldschun) Lakadosch, and passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 in Lufkin.

Mr. Lakadosch emigrated with his family through Ellis Island, New York. He is known most for his love of cooking, his love of computers, and his kind heart toward others.

Survivors include his wife, Nelda Lakadosch of Lufkin; sons, Phillip Lakadosch, Emmerich Lakadosch, Jr., both of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Chris Goyens of Crockett; brothers, Berthold Lakadosch of Greenville, South Carolina and Georg Lakadosch of Waller; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A gathering to honor and celebrate the family’s beloved Emmy will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Carroway Funeral Home.
