Rebecca "Becky" Holland

Funeral services for Rebecca “Becky” Holland, 81, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at twelve noon in the Holland Cemetery near Village Mills in Hardin County with Pastor David Valentine officiating. Mrs. Holland was born July 18, 1934 in Gurdon, Arkansas to (the late) Letha Gecovia (Steed) and John Lonzo Roe and died Sunday, August 9, 2015 in Lufkin. Mrs. Holland had resided in Lufkin for the past forty years. She was employed by the United States Postal Service for over thirty years where she retired as a Postal Clerk. She loved her grandchildren, her cats and loved to play dominoes and cards. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie Reynolds and husband, Rip Valentine of Lufkin; son, Charlie Johnson of Tatum; three grandchildren, Clayton Reynolds and wife Shanna, Rodney Reynolds, and Charlene Johnson all of Lufkin; great-grandchildren, Blaire Reynolds, Cameron Reynolds, Jordan Garcia, and Justin Johnson, Harper and Hallie Reynolds; great-great-grandson, Aaron Garcia; brother and sister-in-law, John and Connie Roe of Conroe; niece, Kimberly Roe of Conroe; and special friend, Margaret Thomas of Hudson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold L. Holland; parents; and brother, Charles Roe.
