Henry N. Foote, Jr.

Graveside services with military honors for Henry N. Foote, Jr., 97, of Huntington will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Chester.

Mr. Foote was born March 21, 1918 in Houston, Texas, to the late Martha (Jones) and Henry Norris Foote, Sr., and died Saturday, August 1, 2015 in a local hospital.

Mr. Foote had resided in Huntington since 1982. He served in the U.S. Army in the European Theater, and retired from Oxirane Chemical Company in Houston. Mr. Foote was a mason in the Golden Rule Lodge #361 A.F. & A.M. in Hearne, Texas. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his sons, Henry N. Foote III and wife Darla of Cleveland and Robert Foote of Huntington; grandsons, Brian Foote and Timothy Foote, both of Cleveland; granddaughter, Jennifer Jones and husband Warren of Kirbyville; great-grandson, Daniel Jones of Kirbyville; nephews, Mark Moran of San Leon and Rick Moran and wife Patty of Cincinnati, Ohio; and great-nephew, Keith Moran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Daniels Foote; sisters, Helen Foote Buchanan and Elizabeth Foote Moran; and nephew, Charles Buchanan.
