Funeral services for Julie Beth Fletcher Cooper, 44, of Jasper will be held Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Shawnee Church of Jesus Christ with Brother Horace Fletcher and Brother Cary Modisett officiating. Interment will follow in the West Oaks Cemetery in Jasper.

Mrs. Cooper was born September 18, 1970 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Monday, July 27, 2015 in Jasper. Formerly of Lufkin and Huntington, she had resided in Jasper for two years.

Mrs. Cooper was a 1988 graduate of Lufkin High School. She was employed with Complete Healthcare Services in Jasper. Mrs. Cooper was an active member of Wives of The Badge. She loved hunting and fishing, and she and her husband spent numerous hours in the deer stand. She loved her family more than anything. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Shawnee Church of Jesus Christ.

Survivors include her husband, John Allen Cooper of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Colt and Katie Jordan of Huntington; daughters, Lillie Ann Cooper of Jasper and Arielle Cooper of Lake Charles, Louisiana; grandchildren, Adleigh Cooper, Slayde Cooper and Makenna Cooper, all of Lake Charles, Louisiana; parents, James and Betty (Berry) Fletcher of Lufkin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Wanda Fletcher of Lufkin, Dennis and Toni Fletcher of Aledo, and Robert Fletcher of Quinlan; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Kenneth Keely of Lufkin; mother-in-law, Freddie Nelson of Huntington; father-in-law, John Roy Cooper of DeRidder, Louisiana; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, including Allie Fletcher and Ruth Berry; and niece, Jessica Harris.

Pallbearers will be the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Shawnee Church of Jesus Christ.
