Cheryl "Denise" Hutson Holcombe

Funeral services for Cheryl “Denise” Hutson Holcombe, 52, of Diboll, will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Trinity County. Denise was born January 13, 1963 in Lufkin, Texas and passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at her father’s residence in Diboll. Denise held many professions including working at Jasper High School in Jasper, Texas, before working at health care agencies. Later, upon moving to Paige, Texas, she worked with her son. Denise was a beloved daughter, sister, mother and friend, who will be greatly missed. She was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church in Paige, Texas. Survivors include her father, Bob Hutson; son, Brandall Porter; daughters, Jessica Holcombe and Heather Holcombe; granddaughter, Madison Villareal; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Trish Hutson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and very close, loyal friends. Denise was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Henderson Hutson; daughter, Amanda Porter; and brother, Steve Hutson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
