Larry Paul Carrington, Sr.

Graveside services for Larry Paul Carrington, Sr., 64, of Lufkin will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gann Cemetery with Brother Glenn Washburn officiating.
Mr. Carrington was born September 25, 1950 in Houston, Texas to Betty Rogers and Paul Carrington, and died Monday, June 29, 2015 in a Lufkin hospital.
Mr. Carrington had resided in Lufkin since 1990. He was a former resident of Nashville, Tennessee. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served with the United States Marine Corps. He was a supervisor in the fiberglass industry. Mr. Carrington was involved in NASCAR and at one time built and raced his own cars on local oval and round tracks. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his son, Larry Paul Carrington, Jr. and wife, Christina of Florida; half-brother, George Carrington; mother, Betty Carrington of Florida; grandson, Jacob Carrington of Florida; granddaughter, Brianna Carrington of Florida; friends and caregivers, Anita and Stephen Pavlic of Lufkin.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday morning at the funeral home.
