Bobby Ray Dean, Sr.

Memorial services for Bobby Ray Dean, Sr., 74, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bill Bailey officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home. Mr. Dean was born January 18, 1941 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late Reba (Hedden) and James Milton Dean, Sr., and died Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Dean had resided in Lufkin since 1974 and was the owner of B&J Pest Management. He enjoyed bass fishing, camping and traveling. Mr. Dean was an outdoorsman and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jo Dean of Lufkin; daughters, Evelyn Wenzel of Lufkin and Annette Dean of Katy; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby, Jr. and Paula Dean of Lufkin; grandsons, David Weir of Lake Jackson, Bobby Dean III of Hudson, Michael Thornton, Christopher Thornton and Tyler Wenzel, all of Lufkin; granddaughters, Khristina Teer and Kether Flowers, both of Lufkin; great-granddaughters, Denise Dean, Olivia Dean, both of Hudson, Morgan Harris of Lufkin, Kamryn Weir, and Kyndzi Weir, both of Lake Jackson; great-grandsons, Jacob Dean of San Antonio, Adam Teer of Lufkin, Andrew Dean of Hudson, Christian Teer, Kaden Thornton, Alric Harris, all of Lufkin, and Damian Oates of Shreveport, Louisiana; sister, Pat Bouchillon of Bassfield, Mississippi; brother, Jimmy Dean of Livingston; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and his best friend, his dachshund, Bonnie.
