Dena Bounds

Funeral services for Dena Bounds, 51, of Burke will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Boone officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery. Mrs. Bounds was born December 19, 1963 in Lufkin, Texas to Earl Williams and the late Jo (Scoggins) Williams, and died Monday, June 1, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Bounds was a lifetime resident of Burke. She was a homemaker and loved to scrapbook and spoil her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Bounds of Burke; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Aaric Brown of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffery and Nikki Bounds and Brian and Cassie Bounds, all of Burke; niece, Brittany Bounds of Burke; grandchildren, Alexis, Zachery, Austin, Ashlynn, Jacob, Madi and Cayson; father, Earl Williams of Burke; sisters and brothers-in-law, Anna and Jeff Byerly of Lufkin and Sandra and Mark Holcombe of Hudson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bubba and Nikki Williams of Etoile and Doug and Samantha Williams of Burke; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jo (Scoggins) Williams. Pallbearers will be Cody Suggs, Jonathan Suggs, Raymond Bounds, Jeremy Bounds, Daniel Elliott and Justin Bounds. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Cox and Carlton Bounds. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
