Graveside services for Jacqueline Harris Crawford, 88, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Pastor Randy Brown officiating.
Mrs. Crawford was born September 22, 1926 in Shelbyville, Texas to the late Watsey and Ara (Cannon) Harris, and died Monday, June 1, 2015 in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Crawford had resided in Lufkin since 1957. She was a graduate of Timpson High School and attended Lamar University and Stephen F. Austin State University. Mrs. Crawford worked in the bookkeeping departments of Lufkin Coca Cola and Polk Oil Co. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Rebekah Sunday school class.
Survivors include her sons, Jack Jordan and wife Susie, Jesse Graves, and Pete Crawford, all of Lufkin; daughters, Kay Jordan of Houston, Lou Anne Cochran and husband Martin, and Laura Lee Coffman and husband Terry, all of Huntington; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry (Buck) Crawford; granddaughters, Amy Cochran and Ashlee Ray; brother, Sammy Garland Harris; and sister, Mary Katherine Dry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lufkin Highway Patrol Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
