Alfred Landrum

Alfred Landrum, 85, was born March 1, 1930 in Angelina County, Texas to the late Charlie B. Landrum and Nettie Ora (Crawford) Landrum. He died on Monday, May 25, 2015 in a Lufkin hospital.

Mr. Landrum retired from Temple-Inland where he was a sawmill worker. He was a loving and kind hearted father and friend. He always helped other people in times of need. Mr. Landrum served in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1952 during the Korean War.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, George “Tommy” and Patricia Landrum of Diboll; Charles Landrum of Diboll; Jerry Landrum of Colorado; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Derrick Levias of Diboll; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home, Lufkin.
