Richard Carlin Steele Lowery

Funeral services for Richard Carlin Steele Lowery, 20, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John W. Greene officiating. Interment will follow in the Aldredge Cemetery.

Richard was born June 1, 1994 in Lumberton, Texas to Dennis E. Lowery and Jana (Holbrook) Lowery and died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in a Tyler hospital.

He had resided in Lufkin all of his life. Richard was a package handler for UPS for two years and attended Harmony Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Dennis and Jana Lowery of Lufkin; brothers, Colby Lowery and wife, Ellie and their daughter Adelynn, and Jake Lowery all of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Molly Lowery Bittick and husband Johnathan of Altus, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be UPS brothers, Kasey Johnson, Eric Sorlas, Colton McQuilaen, Clint Smith, Carvelle King and Greg Hollis.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
