Mark Wayne Lognion

Memorial services for Mark Wayne Lognion, Sr., 50, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church Lufkin Youth and Worship Center with Brother Steve Killam officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mark was born January 1, 1965 in Beaumont, Texas to Leon and Annette (O’Kelley) Lognion, and died Saturday, April 25, 2015 living his life to the fullest in Austin.

Mark had resided in Lufkin for 27 years. He owned and operated Mr. Honey-Do Lawn Care & Tree Service for 16 years. Mark loved being with his family. He enjoyed working out, shooting guns, playing pool, and taking on new challenges. He was very active in his church, First United Methodist Church Lufkin. He was a man after God’s heart, eager to serve and a friend and father figure to all.

Survivors include the love of his life and best friend, Debbie Lognion; son, Mark Lognion, Jr.; daughters, Reagan Lognion and Lauren Lognion and son-in-love Caleb Stacy, all of Lufkin; mother, Annette Lognion; mother and father in love, Dolores and John Bares; brothers and sister-in-law, Perry Lognion, Pierre and Sheila Lognion; sister, Dixie Sorensen; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Kristen Bares, John Bares II; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Lognion.
