Funeral services for Greg Storey, 56, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial services are pending in Beaumont. Mr. Storey was born October 11, 1958 in Denver, Colorado, to Billie Storey and Doris (Shores) Storey, and died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at his residence in Lufkin. Mr. Storey had resided in Lufkin for 11 years and was a former resident of Sour Lake. He had worked as Plant Manager for Laminate Technologies for 11 years. Greg loved to play poker, was a big baseball fan and especially of the Houston Astros. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, was an Eagle Scout and also enjoyed fishing. Greg loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was of the Episcopal faith. Survivors include son, Dustin Storey of Lake Charles, Louisiana; daughters, Carly Storey and fiancé Anthony Reeves of Lake Charles, Lacy Storey and husband Jason Bell of Bridge City, Lacey Rucker of Lufkin; son, Josh Storey and girlfriend, Shiloh Durham of Lufkin; grandchildren, Triston Pressley, Scarlet Reeves, Trenton Reeves, Nevaeh Skinner and Jase Bell; brother, Doug Storey and wife Karen of Houston; nephews, Jacob Storey and Connor Storey of Houston; and his girlfriend, Debra Peterson of Lufkin. He was preceded in death by his parents.
