Royce Kendrick

Funeral services for Royce Kendrick, 76, of Spring will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Bennett Cemetery in Trinity County.

Mr. Kendrick was born December 21, 1938 in Trinity County, Texas to Woodie and Hazel (Blakeway) Kendrick, and died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in The Woodlands.

Mr. Kendrick had resided in Spring for 43 years. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard and attended Sam Houston State University and Stephen F. Austin State University. Mr. Kendrick was the Credit Manager for CSC Credit & Computer Corporation. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and camping. Mr. Kendrick was a member of the Church of Christ in Conroe.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Kendrick of Spring; son, Randy Kendrick of Spring; grandchildren, Tyler Kendrick, Grant Homrighaus and Kailey Homrighaus, all of Spring; sister, Milva Lawrence of Nacogdoches; half-brother, Joe Kendrick and wife Suzanne of Tyler; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Gaylyn Homrighaus.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Scott, Joe Scott, Kyle Homrighaus, Grant Homrighaus, Tyler Kendrick and Jay Jackson.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
