Michael Eugene Wiley

Funeral services for Michael Eugene Wiley, 71, of Lufkin will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother C.G. “Buster” Grigg and Brother Jeff Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Union Cemetery. Mr. Wiley was born September 10, 1943 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Ruby (Bohannon) and Gale Wiley, Sr., and died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Wiley owned and operated U-Save Foods in Lufkin and Nacogdoches from 1982-1999, and Vision Video in Lufkin from 1999-2007. He was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Club, and a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Senior Men’s Sunday school class. Survivors include his wife, Ruth G. Wiley of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Steven Jones of Lufkin, Dennette and Mike Kurimski of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Tammy and Jim Hannon of Lubbock; sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Miki Bozarth of Tokyo, Japan and Curtis and Debbie Wiley of Lubbock; granddaughters, Kristina Belschner of Lufkin, Kylee Kurimski of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Ai Bozarth of Tokyo, Japan and Brianna Parrish of Lubbock; grandsons, Brendon Hannon of Lubbock, Matthew Kurimski of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Dusty Wiley of Lubbock and Matthew Jones of Lufkin; great-granddaughter, Abby Hannon of Lubbock; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and only brother, Gale Wiley, Jr. Pallbearers will be members of the Senior Men’s Sunday school class at Southside Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1615 Tulane Drive, Lufkin, Texas 75901. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
