Lucy M. "Mammaw" Reeves Lollis

Funeral services for Lucy M. “Mammaw” Reeves Lollis, 89, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Betty Johnson officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Southpark Cemetery in Pearland with Roy Love officiating. Mrs. Lollis was born December 13, 1925 in Wharton, Texas to Louis Everett and Nancy Adriene Reeves, and died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at her residence. A former resident of Pearland, she had resided in Lufkin for 15 years. She attended the Word of Life Church in Lufkin and Gulf Meadows Church in Houston. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Reba and Bobby Childers and Celess Hargis, all of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth Eugene and Pat Lollis of Pearland, Robert Earl “Bobby” and Sallie Reid of Mont Belvieu, John Everett Lollis of Pearland and James Herman and Janet Lollis of Pearland; daughter-in-law, Beatrice Lollis of Pearland; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman Eugene Lollis; daughter and son-in-law, Kaylyn Sue and Edwin Baker; son, Kerry Lyn Lollis; son-in-law, Dan Hargis; two brothers; and one sister. Pallbearers will be Russell Reid, John Henry Lollis, Travis Lollis, Christina Lollis, James Lollis and Tommy Sudela. Honorary pallbearers will be Leah Sudela and Rachael Lollis. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
