Curtis Ray Pressley

Funeral services for Curtis Ray Pressley, 75, of Seagoville will be held Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rickey Pressley and Pastor Steve Comstock officiating. Interment will follow in the Sims (Rocky Hill) Cemetery.

Mr. Pressley was born July 1, 1939 in Mansfield, Texas to Dillard Lee and Eleanor (Spears) Pressley, and died Thursday, March 12, 2015 in a Dallas hospital. He had resided in Seagoville for 32 years. Mr. Pressley was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his God and his family.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Rickey and Nita Pressley of Huntington and Randy and Suzan Pressley of Hudson; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Garland Thompson of Diboll, Renea Bynum Pressley of Seagoville and Racheal and Adam Lapino of Flower Mound; grandchildren and their spouses, Greggory and Kristi Thompson of Diboll, April Pressley of New Orleans, Louisiana, Nathanael and Sarah Thompson of Diboll, Dustin and Barbara Pressley of Hudson, Adam Thompson of Diboll, Krystella and Chris May of Livingston, Stormi Pressley of Lufkin, Jeremy and Ashley Bynum of Dallas, Chaz Wilson, Shelby Wilson and Colton Wilson, all of Flower Mound; great-grandchildren, Emily Thompson, Logan Thompson, Kaitlyn Thompson, Hannah Thompson, Natalie Thompson, Waylon Case Thompson, all of Diboll, and Reese Pressley of Hudson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Darlene Pressley of Oklahoma, Willard Pressley of Paris, and Jerry and Linda Pressley of Burleson; sister and brother-in-law, Nora and Charles Green of Mansfield; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 54 years, Elsie Pressley; and sister, Margie Ellis.

Pallbearers will be Greggory Thompson, Nathanael Thompson, Adam Thompson, Dustin Pressley, Chaz Wilson, Jeremy Bynum and Colton Wilson.

Honorary pallbearer will be Chris May.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
