Albert H. Innerarity

Funeral services for Albert H. Innerarity, 88, of Huntington will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with his grandsons, Joseph Innerarity and Justin Innerarity, officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mr. Innerarity was born April 12, 1926 in Palestine, Texas to Theodore W. and Lula (Davis) Innerarity, and died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in Houston.

Mr. Innerarity resided in Huntington most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Cornwell Tools. He loved to play 42 and enjoyed gospel singings. Mr. Innerarity was a member of the Huntington First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Peggy Thomas of Houston; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Barbara Innerarity of Huntington; granddaughter, Jennie Shirley and husband Tad of Houston; grandsons, Joseph Innerarity and wife Renea of Long Branch, Jay Innerarity and wife Kristen of Mt. Enterprise, Justin Innerarity of Katy, Jeffrey Thomas and Charles “Chuck” Thomas, both of Houston; one great-grandson; seven great-granddaughters; brother, Seburn Innerarity of Lufkin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clyde and Oleta Warren of Houston; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Verlene (Warren) Innerarity; son-in-law, Charles “Buddy” Thomas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Daisy and Oscar Beaman, Veda and Charles Frazier, and Daphne and Gene Simmons; brothers and sisters-in-law, Clio and Linadine Innerarity, Byrton and Arlete Innerarity, Edwin and Winnye Mae Innerarity, Ray and Sue Innerarity, Wilson and Lidia Innerarity, and Elton and LaNorma Innerarity; and sisters-in-law, Doris Jo Rodriguez and Winona Innerarity.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Innerarity, Jay Innerarity, Justin Innerarity, Jeffrey Thomas, Charles “Chuck” Thomas and Tad Shirley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Innerarity and members of Tommy Lowery’s Adult Sunday School Class at Huntington First Baptist Church.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
