Trent Mccaa

Funeral services for Trenton “Trent” McCaa, 22, of Pollok will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Elton Musick officiating. Interment will follow in the Berry Cemetery.

Mr. McCaa was born December 7, 1992 in Galveston, Texas to Phillip McCaa and Melodey (Herring) McCaa, and died Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Lufkin following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He had resided in Pollok for most of his life. He was employed by Local Union 798 as a BTH pipeline helper for four years. He loved his video games and movies, of which The Hobbit was his favorite. He graduated from Central High School in 2011. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Melodey and Amos Wallace of Pollok; his father and step-mother, Phillip and Sherry McCaa of Bald Hill; brother, Hunter McCaa of Lufkin; step-brothers, Draven Wallace, Zackary Wallace, both of Pollok, Josh Justus of Lufkin; sisters, Hillary Rivera and husband Albert, Jessica Grimes and husband Tommy, all of Lufkin; grandmother, Doris Fay Reppond of Pollok; paternal grandparents, Ruth Ann and James E. McCaa of Wells; step-grandmother Mary Oliver of Lufkin; step-grandfather, John Ed Wallace of Pollok; step-grandmother Brenda Netherton of Lufkin; nieces, Mia Rivera and Chesa Grimes of Lufkin; Alex, Andy and A.J. Walker whom Trent considered his brothers; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Andrew Anderson Herring and Grady Herring, step-brother Christopher Justus, great-grandparents, Ervin and Emma McCaa, Vivian Brown, uncles, Jerry and Joe Herring.

Pallbearers will be Randy Herring, Rickie Herring, Kenneth Nerren, Brady Hooker, Bobby Schnabele and Patrick Justus.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kasie Russell and Mark Nerren.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
