Linda Gail (Creekmore) Havard

Funeral services for Linda Gail (Creekmore) Havard, 64, of Zavalla will be held Monday, February 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Lancewood Baptist Church with Brother Louie Lawson and Brother Brad Forrest officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Havard was born May 12, 1950 in Lufkin, Texas to Johnny Creekmore and Louise (Stone) Creekmore and died Friday, February 6, 2015 in Zavalla.

Mrs. Havard had resided in Zavalla for most of her life. She had retired from the Wells Independent School District where she worked for 19 years as the Cafeteria Director. She enjoyed taking care of her grandbabies and spending time with her friends and family. She was a member of Lancewood Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Lane Havard of Zavalla; daughter, Angie Yarbrough and husband Mark of Zavalla; granddaughter, Shaylie Yarbrough of Zavalla; grandson, Wyatt Yarbrough of Zavalla; sisters, Tammy Bussey and husband David of Wells, Sarah Austin and husband Ted of Boliver; brother, Billy Joe Creekmore and wife, Jeanine of Wells; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Shane and Debbie Havard of Huntington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Johnny and Lucille Creekmore; her mother and stepfather, Louise (Stone) and Johnny Metcalf; and her father-in-law, C. J. Havard.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Johnson, Royce Mangrum, Bee Lumpkin, Kevin Roebuck, Derrick Stewart and Chase Marshall.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Farrell, James Crawford, Pete Odstrcil, Rex Nerren, James Nerren, Billy Farrell, Shawn Farrell and Bob Davis.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Carroway Funeral Home in Huntington.
