Margaret (Kelley) Trahan

Funeral services for Margaret (Kelley) Trahan, 74, of Etoile will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Pastor Gene Hazell officiating. Interment will follow in the Davis Cemetery of Beulah Springs in Jasper County.

Mrs. Trahan was born December 27, 1940 in Kirbyville, Texas to William Elmer and Sible Dora (Odom) Kelley, and died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in a local hospital. She had resided in Etoile since 1992. Mrs. Trahan was a member of the Little Flock Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Jon Linzy and Judy and Ronnie Latham, all of Lufkin; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna and Melvin Johnson of Etoile and Wynona Kelley of Lumberton; niece, Karen Bush of Etoile; and a number of other nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 42 years, Leroy Trahan; son, David Trahan; and brothers, Preston Kelley, Mickey Kelley and Frank Junior Kelley.

Pallbearers will be Steven Kelley, Tony Rains, Paci Rains, Keith Bush, Matthew Bush and Tanner McGilvra.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Friday afternoon prior to the services.
