Funeral services for Oscar Lopez, Jr., 50, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mr. Lopez was born September 25, 1964 in Eagle Pass to Oscar Lopez and Lucia (Herrera) Lopez and died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at his residence in Lufkin. Mr. Lopez had resided in Lufkin most of his life. He was a truck driver for Fleetwood Trucking Company. Survivors include his mother, Lucia Herrera of Lufkin; brothers Gilbert and wife Maria Lopez of Diboll, Rudy Lopez, and Eddie and wife Azucena Lopez, all of Lufkin; sisters, Adriana Lopez of Brenham, Azalia Lopez of Lufkin; Alicia and husband Lico Herrera, and Daniel and wife, Eva Lopez, all of Lufkin; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandmother, Maria Luisa De Jesus. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Lopez, Rudy Lopez, Eddie Lopez, Daniel Lopez, Edgar Lopez, and Anthony Ramos.
