Dakoda Wayne Lee

Funeral services for Dakoda Wayne Lee, 23, of Lufkin will be held Friday, January 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Eastview United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Kelly Havard, Brother Rick Martin and Brother Bill Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Bonaldo Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.

Dakoda was born May 6, 1991 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Monday, December 29, 2014 in Lufkin, from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. He was a lifetime resident of Lufkin. Dakoda loved to hog hunt and ride horses.

Survivors include his wife, Brianne Lee of Lufkin; father and mother, Johnny and Kimberly Lee of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Brandon and Jana Lee of Lufkin; grandfathers, James E. Molandes of Lufkin and Burtis Boles of Huntington; parents-in-law, Cara and Don Graham of Pollok and Jamey and Linda Brookshire of Woden; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Larry and Savanna Tutt, Lucas and Tiffany Wilkes, Blake Brookshire, Jake Solly, all of Lufkin, Shelby Brookshire and Chelsea Brookshire, both of Woden; nephews, Logan, Landon and Luke Lee, Sean and Adam Tutt, all of Lufkin; niece, Emry-Kate Wilkes of Lufkin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Boles; grandparents, Harry L. and Gladys Lee; great-grandmother, Annie Lou Molandes; and special cousin/best friend, Justin Ray Grimes.

Pallbearers will be Cory Springer, Robbie Springer, Lucas Springer, Randall Grimes, Randall Burns, Buster Stringer, E.J. Holt, Blake Brookshire, Jake Solly and Rusty Redd.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Lee, Jeromy Holt, David Willis, Quincy Berry and Thomas McGraw.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon prior to the services.
