Luciana Vidales Acevedo

Mass of Christian Burial for Luciana Vidales Acevedo, 76, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Fr. Raymundo Garcia officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Mrs. Acevedo was born July 21, 1938 in Valparaiso, Zacatecas, Mexico to Serapio and Marselina (Vidales) Acevedo, and died Monday, December 22, 2014 at her residence.

Mrs. Acevedo had resided in Lufkin for 14 years. She enjoyed sewing and cooking and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She attended St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Survivors include her children, Consuelo Guzman and husband Jose, Maria Rojo and husband Salvador, Petra Pereida and husband Jesus, Hortencia Cruz and husband Carlos, Humberto Falcon and wife Elena, Salomon Falcon, Argelia Balbuena and husband Mario, Azucena Paulin and husband Edgar, and Erika Gonzalez and husband Cesar; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesus Falcon; daughters, Antonia Falcon and Esther Falcon; and son, Benjamin Falcon.

Pallbearers will be Marion Balbuena, Jose Guzman, Cesar Gonzalez, Carlos Cruz, Edgar Paulin, Jose Palacios, Jesus Pereira and Ulises Berumen.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
