Kenneth Wayne Waggonner

Graveside services for Ken Waggonner, 76, of San Augustine will be held Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., at the Attoyac Cemetery in San Augustine County with Brother Jesse Moore officiating.

Mr. Waggonner was born June 12, 1938, in San Augustine, Texas to Kent Waggonner and Willie Mae (Rushing) Waggonner, and died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in a local hospital.

Mr. Waggonner had resided in San Augustine for most of his life. He attended Harvey Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the guitar and farming. He had worked as an insurance agent for 52 years.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sheree and Larry Cloyd of Lufkin; sons, Wayne Waggonner of Huntington, Hank Waggonner and Joey and wife Susan Waggonner, all of Lufkin; Joseph Waggonner of Huntington, and Garland Waggonner of San Augustine; numerous grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Huweda Collins of New Caney; and special friends, Hollis Mott and Charlie Mullins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hollis Mott, Charlie Mullins and Sam Romano.
