Carlyle Walter Treat

Graveside services for Carlyle Walter Treat, 86, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hillcrest Cemetery with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating.

Mr. Treat was born February 22, 1928 in Manchester, Michigan to Earl Walter and Thelma (Green) Treat, and died Saturday, December 6, 2014 in a local hospital. Formerly of Tyler, he had resided in Lufkin for 30 years. While in Tyler he was employed with the City of Tyler, and in Lufkin he worked for Crazy Man Roofing.

Survivors include his daughters, Melissa Burrous of Pollok, Margaret Gabbard and Helen Treat, both of Lufkin; sons, Darwin Treat of Palestine and Walter Treat of Tyler; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
