Milburn Mureal Williams

Funeral services for Milburn Mureal Williams, 78, of Wells will be held Monday, December 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Wells with Brother Josh Luellen officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Williams was born February 15, 1936 in Wells, Texas to Robert Milburn and Ella Mae (Goodwin) Williams, and died Friday, December 5, 2014 in a local hospital.

Mr. Williams resided in Wells most of his life. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed with Watson Electrical Supply Co. for 29 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wells and had been a member of the church choir for many years.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Judy Williams of Wells; daughter and son-in-law, Sonia Vann and Steven Ortega of Wells; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Jacki Williams of Wells; grandchildren, Kandell, Kellie, Jack and Emily Williams; sister and brother-in-law, Alene and Hugh Peek of Wells; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Eluise Eckenrode, Louise Evans and Shirley Sullivan; son-in-law, Michael Vann; and parents-in-law, Ezzie and Bessie White.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
