Annie Irvin Khan

Funeral services for Annie Irvin Khan, 68, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jeff Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Pollok Cemetery.

Ms. Khan was born March 15, 1946 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Tom and Ella (McGuire) Irvin, and died Monday, November 24, 2014 in a local hospital. She resided in Lufkin most of her life and worked in food services at Lufkin ISD. Ms. Khan was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Joe and Johanna Jimenez of Kirbyville, Dwayne Carlisle of Port Arthur and Lucius Allen Carlisle of Lufkin; daughters, Evelyn Jimenez of Port Arthur and Helena Carlisle of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Nola Irvin of New Mexico; sisters and brothers-in-law, Molly Sullivan, Alice and Medford Havard, Alma and Melvin Hendry, all of Lufkin, and Marian Wasche of Illinois; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thomas Irvin.

Pallbearers will be Joe Jimenez, Dwayne Carlisle, Marvin Jimenez, Dale Havard, Michael Burch and David Sullivan.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904, or Southside Baptist Church, 1615 Tulane Drive, Lufkin, Texas 75901.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon prior to the services.
