Memorial services for Kathleen Worley, 74, of Lufkin, Texas will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Robinson officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home. Mrs. Worley was born November 15, 1940 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Robert McCoy, Jr. and Dorothy (Whitten) McCoy, and died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at her residence in Lufkin. Mrs. Worley lived in Lufkin since 1980 and formerly resided in Jacksonville, Illinois. She had worked as an LVN at UTMB in Nacogdoches. Kathy loved her family, they could do no wrong. She reveled in their accomplishments and was always there for them. Whenever a family member was in need, she was the first one there and the last one to leave, her skills as a mother and nurse prominently on display. In a crisis we all knew we could count on Kathy. Kathy loved to have her entire family over to her house to eat and swim. She so enjoyed being with her kids and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Dean Worley of Lufkin; daughters, Krystal Martin of Sacramento, California, Lisa Denman and husband Jim and Lori Dorsett and husband Gene and son, Perry Martin, Jr., all of Lufkin; stepsons, James Worley and wife, Melinda of Lufkin, John Worley and wife Bonnie of Nacogdoches; step daughters, Jeana Worley and Joan Worley, both of Houston; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rebecca Perryman, Patricia Chavez, Theresa McCoy, and Sue Hill; brother, Robert McCoy III and “Coco”, her spoiled Maltie Yorkie ‘Baby’. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Misty Dawn Martin; and Perry Martin, father of her children.
