Gloria Jean Herrington

Memorial services for Gloria Jean Herrington, 73 of Lufkin will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Blackie Cranford officiating.

Ms. Herrington was born October 15, 1941 in Lamesa, Texas to the late Ima Lee (Fowler) and Walter Henry Pfortmiller, and died Saturday, November 8, 2014 in a local hospital. She had resided in Lufkin for 26 years and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Mary Herrington of Lufkin; grandchildren, Hannah Herrington and Michael Herrington, both of Lufkin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan and Gary Kirtley of Quartzsite, Arizona, Rowena and Larry Lambertson, Sr. of Upland, California and Linda and Hubert Rouse of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Herrington was preceded in death by her infant daughters, Renee and Robin; nephew, Larry Lambertson, Jr.; and niece, Cindy Kirtley Saldana.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
