Billy Cole Hooper

Billy Cole Hooper, 71, of Lufkin, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in a local nursing home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Hooper was born April 27, 1943 in Sweeney, Texas. He had worked as a truck driver for Lone Star and resided in Lufkin since 1988.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Clinton Hawkins of Broaddus, Deborah and Jerry Smith of Orange; daughter, Coky Smith of Orange; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffery and Jackie Powell of Orangefield, William and Renea Powell of Crowley, Louisiana; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
