Lounette Watford Anderson

Graveside services for Lounette Watford Anderson, 82, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Etoile with Brother Charles M. Roberts officiating.

Mrs. Anderson was born March 6, 1932 in Rehobeth, Alabama to the late Bonnie (Swann) and Auburn Allen Watford, and died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in a local nursing home. She had resided in Lufkin for 44 years.

Mrs. Anderson graduated from the Draughan Business School. She worked for BellSouth in Alabama and then at Boles Supermarket in Lufkin. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Shirley Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Anderson of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Kelly Anderson of Garland; daughter and son-in-law, Garion and Lindsay Taylor of Lufkin; grandchildren, Jamie Anderson, Zach Taylor and Jay Taylor; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Ramona Watford of Panama City, Florida; sisters-in-law, Ann Boles of Lufkin and Joyce Anderson of Dothan, Alabama; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Grace Care Center and Heart to Heart Hospice for their attentive care of Mrs. Anderson.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
