Pam (Peewee) Smith

A Celebration of Life for Pam Smith (PeeWee), 54, of Huntington, will be held at a later date at the family residence in Huntington. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Ms. Smith was born November 20, 1959 in Lufkin, Texas to John Wayne Hooper and the late Vera Fay (Bruce) Hooper. She died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in a Lufkin hospital.

Ms. Smith had previously worked at Tiny Town as a child caregiver. She was very loving and always took care of others. She was full of life. Ms. Smith had lived in Huntington for the past eight years.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Westberry of Huntington; daughters and sons-in-law, Misty and Robert Gardiner of Hudson, Shannon and Clifford L. Johnson of Lufkin; four grandchildren; father, John Wayne Hooper; mother-in-law, Mary Beth Fitzsimmons; brother-in-law, Robert Westberry; sister-in-law, Ann Speights; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, John Wayne Hooper, Jr.
