Kathy Beauchamp

September 26, 1956 — August 22, 2014

Funeral services for Kathy Beauchamp, 57, of Corrigan, will be held Monday, August 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Tommy Rhodes and Darlene Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan.

Kathy was born September 26, 1956 in Tyler County, Texas, and died Friday, August 22, 2014 at her residence near Corrigan.

Kathy was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Kathy loved to sew and quilt and could often be found with material for one blanket or another. Family and friends also knew that when an animal needed nursing back to health or needed a foster mother, Kathy was the first stop to get the attention it needed. And finally, the ultimate prize for Kathy was spoiling her grandkids to nearly intolerable levels. She was a member of Rockland Baptist Church, and had lived in Corrigan for the past 37 years.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Roy Beauchamp of Corrigan; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Michelle Beauchamp, Tony and Leeann Beauchamp, Jason and Stacy Beauchamp, and Jamie Beauchamp, all of Corrigan; grandchildren, Samuel Beauchamp, Jade Beauchamp, Adam and Casey Thomas, Kaylon and Austin Squyres, Colton Beauchamp, Jacy Beauchamp, Payton Beauchamp, Tytus Beauchamp, and Kylie Beauchamp; great grandchildren, Chloe Thomas, Halle Thomas, and Slayden Squyres; mother, Odessa Henderson of Rockland; sisters and brother-in-law, Betty and Roy Tompkins of Rockland, Donna Dickens of Livingston; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, J.R. Henderson; brother, Bryan Henderson; and grandson, Blaine Beauchamp.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Dickens, Doug Tompkins, Kevin Tompkins, Charles “Boo” Marshall, Willie Brooks, and Michael Farmer.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
