Deborah Loving Bufis

Funeral services for Deborah Loving Bufis, 58, of Lufkin, will be held Friday, July 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lancewood Baptist Church with Brother Louie Lawson and Pastor Kevin Poage officiating. Interment will follow in Largent Cemetery.

Ms. Bufis was born August 13, 1955 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in a Lufkin hospital.

Ms. Bufis was a homemaker and a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was a graduate of Hudson High School and a member of Clawson Assembly of God. Ms. Bufis had lived in Lufkin most of her life.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kris Moore and Paige Poe of Lufkin; stepson and wife, Chad and Jamie Adams of Fort Worth; mother, Jean Rudd of Hudson; sisters and brother-in-law, Lisa Loving Baker of Hudson, Connie Rudd of Kuwait, Teresa Loving Cole of Broaddus, and Rushena Loving Aldrich and Bob Aldrich of Monticello, Indiana; brothers and sister-in-law, Timmy and Darlene Loving of Magnolia and Terry Loving of Dayton; grandchildren, Chazton and Bryce Moore, Ethan, Dawson, Kirsten and Peyton Adams; a number nieces and nephews including Nichole McCleskey Pollock of San Antonio, Natalie McCleskey Katz of Dallas, Drew Rudd of Hudson, Scooter Poe of Central, and Heather Poe of Hudson; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Rudd, and daughters, Kelley and Kayla Moore.

Pallbearers will be Kris Moore, Drew Rudd, Scooter Poe, Chad Adams, Wayne Morgan, and Darrell Adams.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday morning at Lancewood Baptist Church.
