Funeral services for Kenneth P. Clegg, 66, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with John Derrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Berry Cemetery. Mr. Clegg was born August 19, 1947 in Sabine County, Texas to Pauline (Ingle) and Roland Clegg, and died Wednesday, July 3, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Clegg resided in Angelina County most of his life. He retired from Louisiana-Pacific following over 30 years of employment. Mr. Clegg loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his mother, Pauline Graham of Diboll; wife, Carrie Clegg of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Joey Teer and Karen and Jason Hodges, all of Lufkin; son and fiancée, Ken Clegg and Roni Hendry of Lufkin; grandchildren, Colby and Kara Teer, Madison, Paige and Bree “Bree Bree” Hodges, and Kloie Clegg; sister, Lucy Rector of Diboll; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Karan Graham of Lufkin; sister-in-law, Helen Clegg of Pineland; uncle, Jim Clegg of Bronson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim Hightower, Betty and Kenneth Pinner, Delwin and Linda Hightower, Nell and Robert Walker, Charles Hightower, Fran Hightower, Windle and Donna Hightower, Mary Whitley, and Bobby and Monica Hightower; special friends, Rabbit Griffin, George Tillar and Denny Kio, all of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland Clegg; brother, Roland Eugene Clegg; stepfather, Verdell Graham; brothers-in-law, Jerry Rector, Robert “Bee Man” Hightower and Oscar Hightower; and sisters-in-law, Manda Reynolds and Clara Hightower. Pallbearers will be Jason Clegg, Wesly Graham, Aaron Graham, Richy Rector, Ray Hightower, Steve Walker, Colby Teer and Keith Gaston. Honorary pallbearers will be his nieces and nephews.
