Merle R. Fuller

Graveside services for Merle R. Fuller, 67, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rosevine Cemetery with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating.

Mr. Fuller was born November 25, 1946 in Nacogdoches, Texas to the late Edna (Johnson) and Elton Fuller. He died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in a Galveston hospital.

Mr. Fuller was the retired owner of the 59 Café & Motel, and had lived in Lufkin most of his life. He loved to garden and raise chickens and cattle.  He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his daughter, Krystal Fuller of Nacogdoches; granddaughter, Riley Renee Fuller of Nacogdoches; stepson, Kevin Fuller; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Mr. Fuller was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Burl Fuller; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Fuller.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
