Rick Lynn Schooley

Funeral services for Rick Lynn Schooley, 64 of Pollok will be held Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Pastor Ford Adkins and Chaplain Greg Freijo officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mr. Schooley was born February 2, 1950 in Pasadena, Texas, and passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at a local hospital. He graduated from Deer Park High School in 1968, and was a lifetime member of the Parkwood Methodist Church in Pasadena, Texas. He also served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era from 1968 - 1972.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Schooley of Pollok; daughter and son-in-law, Nickole and Ken Hajok of Dallas; sons, David, Timothy and Benjamin Schooley, all of Pasadena; five grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Jasna Schooley of Baytown; brother-in-law, Phillip Zorn of Katy; sister-in-law, Ginger Schooley of Deer Park; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Dillard Schooley and Glynn Iris (Gurrant) Schooley; sister, Glenda Zorn; and brother, Scott Schooley.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
