Leslie Diane Scarborough

Funeral services for Leslie Diane Scarborough, 62, of Zavalla will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington. Interment will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.

Mrs. Scarborough was born August 1, 1951 in Bell County, Texas to Vernon and Mary Savannah (Moore) Helbert, and died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at her residence. She was an LVN and worked at Parkwood Place Nursing Home for 15 years. Mrs. Scarborough had resided in Zavalla since 1980.

Survivors include her husband, David Scarborough of Zavalla; daughter, Crystal Brian of Highlands; stepdaughter, Amanda Scarborough of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Britnay Brian of Zavalla; grandson, Nicco Benavidez of Highlands; brother, Jack Helbert of Zavalla; sister, Deborah Eastwood of Zavalla; mother-in-law, Joyce Shuff of Lumberton; and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother; daughter, Rashelle Dairyberry; and brother, Jesse Helbert.
