Jim "Jemmie Dell" Corcoran

Funeral services for Jim “Jemmie Dell” Corcoran, 57, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ray Pinner and Reverend Ronnie Frankens officiating. Interment will follow in the Gann Cemetery.

Mr. Corcoran was born December 5, 1956 in Lufkin, Texas to Charlie and Helen (Chandler) Corcoran, and died Monday, March 17, 2014 at his residence. He resided in Lufkin most of his life and worked in drywall construction for 15 years. Mr. Corcoran loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Allentown United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Pat (Pinner) Corcoran of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Candy and Jeremy Cloud of Lufkin; grandchildren, Gabriel and Breanna Cloud, both of Lufkin; sisters and brothers, Mary Grimes and husband Mike of Nacogdoches, Patsy Corcoran of Dayton, Johnny Corcoran of Lufkin, Darlene Cook and husband Wayne of Etoile and Phillip Corcoran of Lufkin; parents-in-law, Rev. Ray and Portia Pinner of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Betty Ashton and Barbara Vaughn.

Pallbearers will be Michael Moore, Tommy Moore, Jr. Frankens, David Frankens, Brian Frankens, John Vaughn, Kenny Moore, Stephen Grimes and James Grimes.
