Don Reynolds

Funeral services for Don Reynolds, 53, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Chaplain Bob Harbuck officiating. Interment will follow in the Crawford Cemetery.

Mr. Reynolds was born August 10, 1960 in Lufkin, Texas to Carolyn Yvonne (Langford) Reynolds and the late James Reagan Reynolds. He died Sunday, February 23, 2014 in a Lufkin nursing facility.

Mr. Reynolds had worked as a desk clerk at Holiday Inn Express for 15 years, and had lived in Lufkin all his life. He enjoyed reading, especially Tom Clancy and Louis L’amour, and playing chess.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Reynolds of Lufkin; daughter, Erin Dickerson Hearn of Lufkin; two granddaughters; brother, Darrell Reynolds of Douglass; sister, Ronda Harvill of Lufkin; ex-wife and lifelong friend, Charlotte Dickerson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Josh Taylor, Wayne Reynolds, Scott Willmon, Kenneth Simmons, Richard Nash and Jonathan Reynolds.

Memorial contributions may be made to the James Dunn/Special Account at Huntington State Bank.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
