Graveside services for William “Billy” Lennox, 69, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, February 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Berry Cemetery with Pastor Ford Adkins officiating.
Mr. Lennox was born December 29, 1943 in New York, New York to William D. and Anna (DeLuca) Lennox, and died Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in a local nursing home. He had resided in Lufkin for 20 years. Mr. Lennox worked in scrap yards dismantling ships for many years. He loved to walk, and enjoyed fishing and watching classic movies. He attended the Cross Timbers Cowboy Church.
Survivors include his brothers, Charles Lennox, Joe Lennox, both of New York, and Harold Lennox of Lufkin; sisters, Mary “Bunny” Fougeron of Hudson, Alice Desiderato of New York, and Linda Price of Florida; niece, Patricia Lennox of Lufkin; nephew, William D. Lennox of Lufkin; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward Lennox and John Lennox; and sisters, Jessie Davis and Vickie Cox.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
