Bonnie Lock Marshall

Funeral services for Bonnie Lock Marshall, 77, of Zavalla will be held Friday, January 10, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Cary Modisett and Brother Calvin Kersh officiating. Interment will follow in the Boykin Cemetery.

Mrs. Marshall was born August 15, 1936 in Lufkin, Texas to Archie O. and Lucy D. (Reynolds) Lock, and died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in a local hospital. She was a lifetime resident of Zavalla. Mr. Marshall was an avid reader and was in many book clubs. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Zavalla and the Joy Sunday school class.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Hollis and Betty Marshall of Zavalla; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joyce Clamon and husband Larry of Livingston, Johnny Ford and wife Alti of Etoile, Tommy Ford and wife Marilyn of Lufkin, Lois Johnson and husband Joe, all of Lufkin, and Carolyn Hart of Beaumont; special cousins, Doris Jean and Frank Roebuck; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, H.L. (Red) Marshall; and sons, Randy Marshall and Tony Marshall.

Pallbearers will be Chase Marshall, George Cryer, Michael Hawley, Troy Weaver, Ryan Havard and Richard Havard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Delbert Jones and Johnny Leviness.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
