Graveside services for William “Ray” Langford, 75, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Reverend Darrell Nunley officiating.
Mr. Langford was born December 18, 1938 in Shelbyville, Texas to William and Valley (Rash) Langford, and died Wednesday, December 25, 2013 in a local hospital.
Mr. Langford retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad following 30 years as a machine operator. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Mr. Langford was of the Assembly of God faith.
Survivors include his wife, Etoile Langford of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and William Prince of Lufkin; sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Sonia Langford and Gaylon Langford, all of Lufkin; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Langford of Lufkin; grandchildren, Ashley Easley and husband Louin, Dustin Prince, Cullen Prince and wife Ashley, all of Lufkin, Chace Langford and wife Holly of Dallas, Hannah Langford of Beaumont, Kyle Langford of Lufkin, Garrett Langford of Georgia and Reagan Langford of Lufkin; great-grandchildren, Drew, Alex, Gracie, Annsley, Lila and Kutter, all of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephew and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Mr. Langford’s grandsons.
Honorary pallbearer will be Sam Moorehouse.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Carroway Funeral Home.
