William Dwain "Doc" Hendry

Memorial services for William Dwain “Doc” Hendry, 62, of Sullivan, Missouri will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bud Bonner officiating.

Doc Hendry was born June 14, 1951 in Hudson, Angelina County, Texas, and died Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Rocksprings, Texas.

Doc earned a BS in Forestry Management from Stephen F. Austin State University. He had resided in Sullivan, Missouri for 10 years and was a District Manager for Ariens.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Hendry of Sullivan, MO; mother, Lula Brock Hendry of Hudson; daughters and son-in-law, Natalee and Bret Kauffman of Springfield, MO and Jennifer Stuart of Overland Park, KS; sons and daughters-in-law, Brock and Bridgette Hendry of Harahan, LA and Joe and Tawnya Reitinger-Browning of Shawnee, KS; grandchildren, Kerra Kauffman of Springfield, MO, Emalee Stuart of Overland Park, KS, Madison Reitinger-Browning of Shawnee, KS, Kate Kauffman of Springfield, MO, Jason Kauffman of Poplar Bluff, MO, Aron Kauffman of Springfield, MO, Wyatt Reitinger of Shawnee, KS, Doug Stuart, Brad Stuart, both of Overland Park, KS, Joie Reitinger and Tyler Reitinger; brother and sister-in-law, James Brooks “Toot” and Donna Hendry of Hudson; sister, Shelia Hendry of Lumberton; uncles and aunts, Rabon and Betty Brock and Boyce and Bulah Hendry, all of Hudson; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Clovis Hendry.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon prior to the services.
