Kenneth Allen Williams

Memorial services for Kenneth Allen Williams, 74, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jimmy Davis officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Williams was born October 13, 1939 in Liberty, Texas to the late Ella Frances (Wolf) and Allen Weldon Williams. He died Sunday, November 17, 2013 in a Diboll nursing facility.

Mr. Williams was a retired sales representative for Nabisco following more than 25 years of service. He grew up in Alto, and lived in Lufkin most of his life. He attended Sam Houston State University and Stephen F. Austin State University. Mr. Williams loved to play golf at the Neches Pines Golf Course in Diboll. He was raised a Baptist, and attended Assembly of God churches.

Survivors include his son, Phil Williams of Austin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Martha Williams of Lufkin and Mike and Betty Williams of Austin; sister, Carol Wallace of Alto; aunt, Eugenia Newton of Rockdale; friends, Jimmy and Carol Mettlen of Diboll; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Charlotte Gholston.
