Paul Wayne Crawford

Paul Wayne Crawford, 46, of Lufkin was born November 21, 1966 in Lufkin, Texas. He died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in a Lufkin hospital.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Cremation will follow under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Crawford has previously been employed as a veterinary assistant for Dr. Daniel Sallas for seven years. He graduated from Lufkin High School, and was a member of Central Baptist Church. Mr. Crawford had lived in Angelina County all his life.

Survivors include his children, Cassie Crawford of Conroe, Krista Clark and husband Trent of Lufkin, Tyler Hatt of Lufkin, and Laura Crawford of Lufkin; mother, Dottie Wood of Lufkin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy, Jr. and Karen Crawford, James and Brandi Wood, all of Lufkin, and Jearl and Dina Wood of Crestview, Florida; a number of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Bobby Wood; grandmother, Fannie Smith; sister, D.D. Neal; and great aunt, Margie Permenter.
